NFL Predictions Week 5...

NFL Week 5

A 10-6 record for Week 4 of the 2011 NFL season has me at 43-21 for the season thus far. Buffalo, Cleveland and Minnesota were among the teams to not live up to my predictions.

Ok…on to this week’s picks:

Tennessee @ Pittsburgh

The Steelers are banged up and may be primed for a home loss. The Titans running game is improving and their defence is sound.

Tennessee 24-17.

Seattle @ NY Giants

NY Giants 31-24.

Cincinnati @ Jacksonville

Jacksonville 31-21.

New Orleans @ Carolina

Newton meets Brees but Brees has a better supporting cast.

New Orleans 37-20.

Oakland @ Houston

I would be amiss in mentioning the Raiders without mentioning the passing of AFL/NFL visionary Al Davis. RIP to the man who built the Raiders into one of the most feared teams on earth in the 70’s, 80’s and into the 90’s.

A win on the road will be a tough ask for Oakland but not impossible.

Arizona @ Minnesota

Minnesota 24-14.

Tampa Bay @ San Francisco

Tampa 21-17

NY Jets @ New England

San Diego @ Denver

San Diego 31-17.

Green Bay @ Atlanta

Green Bay 34-31.

Chicago @ Detroit

Detroit 27-20
