And
now…the Super Bowl!!!
Once
the 2011 NFL Season got underway, fans were treated to some great football through
the regular season. As could be expected, there were some pleasant surprises
(49ers, Lions, Bengals and Broncos) along with some disappointments (NY Jets,
Colts, Chargers, Eagles, Cowboys, Bear and Bucs) as the season unfolded.
In
my preseason
picks, I predicted a Chargers vs. Eagles Super Bowl. Oh well, not this
season. For my AFC playoff picks, I was wrong in picking the Jets and Chargers
for the postseason. In the NFC, the Saints, Packers and Falcons were my correct
postseason picks.
At
the start of the playoffs, my
pick was a Harbaugh vs. Harbaugh Super Bowl. That pick came agonisingly
close to being correct!!
As
for the Super Bowl:

Giants vs. New England Patriots
Well,
I picked to Giants in their last Super Bowl meeting and earlier in the regular
season this year so I suppose I will go for the trifecta. In the end, I think
the Giant defense will be a tad too tough for New England
NY Giants 30-24
