Time for the Big One!!!

NYC's turn for Super Bowl

It has all boiled down to a Broncos versus Seahawks match for the Vince Lombardi trophy. It is being billed as a defense (Legion of Boom) versus a prolific offense (Peyton's kids) fight for supremacy.

In looking at it, I've pretty much concluded the same. Now as far as predictions go, I think the Seahawks "D" will be able to make Mr. Manning a little uncomfortable in the pocket. That being said, if the Seahawks can get ahead early and go into "Beast Mode", the pressure will be on for the Broncs.

The Seattle DB's versus Peyton's receivers will most likely settle the game. The question will be not of the Bronc TE's or Eric Decker, it could boil down to whether or not the oft concussed Wes Welker will survive some big hits in this one?

Summing it up, I look for it to be close but in the end.....we have a defense in the Super Bowl that we have not seen sine the 1985 Super Bowl shuffling Chicago Bears...we all know how that one ended for the AFC Champs....

Looking for the title to go to Florida...

BCS title on line in Cali

Well...I procrastinated until the last minute but for tonight's or this morning's here in Australia....NCAA Championship game I will go with Florida State for the greater good of the state of Florida and the ACC....so you know that is a hadr thing for a Hurricane to do...here goes...

BCS Title

Auburn (2) vs Florida State (1)
Yes, there are arguments out there that Auburn had closer, clutch games, played a tougher schedule and are after all from the SEC....Sorry not buying it this year...Auburn you were two plays from not being here while Florida State did not let anyone remotely close to them which is what they should have done considering their schedule.
As for the game......the 'Noles simply have too much firepower on both sides of the ball...so it may be interesting for longer than usual but Florida State to pull it off.

FSU 38-24

Tuned up for the post season!!

The road to the title starts this weekend!

Well, last week, I tuned up with a 15-1 record for in Week 17 and am looking for post season success to rival last year's prediction for a Raven-49ers Super Bowl.

This year...looking at the playoffs...I'm going with ...and this is not just from a biased Chargers fan.....the winner of Cincy-SD to advance from the AFC to face the returning to the big one 49ers....

So there...picking ...ok...let's make it a rematch of nostalgic proportions...

Super Bowl Prediction:
San Francisco vs Cincinnati

Wild Card Weekend

Kansas City @ Indianapolis
Chiefs have been reeling for the last half of the season but may have some Andy Reid magic for the playoffs...
Chiefs 23-21

New Orleans @ Philadelphia
The Eagles bounce through over the once promising Saints.
Eagles 38-30

San Diego @ Cincinnati
Weather may halt the progress of the Bolts...
Bengals 20-14

San Francisco @ Green Bay
Hmm..the 49ers still have the Packers number even in the cold, cold, cold!!
49ers 34-27

Enjoy the games....
