Week 1 NCAA picks continued!!!

Kickoff Time...

This year, due to time constraints, I am doing things a bit "Bass Akwards" as it were in that I am predicting Week 1 games before actually doing my preview of the NCAA season. That said, so far I am 3-0 after the first few games involving ranked teams though Michigan State and Stanford had much closer games than I expected.

Each week I will look into my crystal ball and predict games involving Top 25 (AP Top 25) teams and a select few others.

Here we go with the rest of Week 1:

Buffalo @ Georgia (6)

Georgia should have a lot easier time opening the season with Buffalo as opposed to starting last season with Boise State.

Easy tune up in the local brawl for West Virginia before their run into the Big 12 Conference.

The Urban Meyer gets a win to open the season at his new school.

My fist upset call of the season, I know I'll hear from my good friend back in the USA, Chip Stanley if Clemson does win it, but starting the season without your top receiver could cost you and when I last saw the Tigers, they gave up like 70!!

The Trojans are the early pick for a national title run and I tend to agree...at the moment!!

The big season opener at "Jerry's House" matches Michigan against the Crimson Tide. At least the Wolverines get an early look at where they are on the national landscape. Maybe they can play spoilers for the rest of the season.
