NCAA Week 6 picks

NCAA Week 6 is upon us

In my Blog Picks last week I finished 16-9 taking me to 69-36 for the 2011 NCAA football season. Not exactly my best week but I am back for more. As a Fearless Forecaster in the Roanoke Times I suffered another 10-10 week putting me at 63-37 for the season there.

The Ducks have steamrolled all comers since their opening loss to LSU and the Golden Bears travel to Eugene for their dose this week.

Boise State (5) @ Fresno State

Fresno will look to put a scare into the visiting Broncos but not this season.

Oklahoma (3) vs. Texas (11)

Ok, let’s call an upset for this one.

Maryland @ Georgia Tech (13)

Georgia Tech 38-17.

UConn @ West Virginia (16)

West Va 44-7.

Kentucky @ South Carolina (18)

Gamecocks need to bounce back from the loss to Auburn. They also need to get some consistency from QB Garcia.

Florida State (23) @ Wake Forest

Florida State 34-17.

Illinois (19) @ Indiana

Illinois 35-14.

Boston College @ Clemson (8)

Clemson finally gets a breather of sorts when BC visits Death Valley.

The Gators visit the bayou banged up and will just be looking to keep it respectable.

Ok Tech has not lived up to my lofty expectations again; neither have my beloved Hurricanes…hmm…should I pick a tie?? I will give the slight edge to the Hokies.

Utah still looking for its first win in the PAC 12. This may be the week for a minor upset!!

Texas A&M (24) @ Texas Tech

Texas Tech finally puts in a complete four quarter effort.

Houston is looking to jump into the Top 25 and is gaining attention.
